Video 1.

Video 12:00 looped, Kraków 2012. Part of installation Rituals of memory. The entire greenhouse's complex, where the action was taken, is now rebuilt and converted, and as a result almost stopped to be used for plant breeding. A sense of loss, change and transience, it has an incentive to take artistic actions here.

My perception of my parent's greenhouse has changed over the years, which resulted in the assigning to it the various functions. (...) Already after leaving the family home, I began to rediscover the place and analyse it closer. Invoke memories, enriched with new observations on the issues of visual, such as architectural structure, the materials used - glass and technical improvements that appearing in place of the crops began to enter into relations with the ageing space and gradually dominate. I think of this as a constant reference point, the greenhouse as a place that has always been, but still amenable to transformation. (...) As well the development of plants grown in the greenhouse, as memorizing it is not a process over which we can have total control. We can be influenced only in part, but after planting / remember both are transformed itself in a similar way and take the shape of whatever we have. Memories can grow like a living organism that is in constant contact with the environment and man. It marks the inaccuracy, loss of clarity of the original, the intensity of the difficulty of the location of their time, blurring the colours, smells and sounds.
